There was this movie about a young man (teen I think) from New York or somewhere who was Jewish. Somehow he ended up working for this country good ol' boy who was a big shot in a little town. The kid had a name like Markowitz or something and there was a running gag that the good ol' boy would mispronounce his name in ways that got further away from the real name.
At one point the kid answered "I don't know" and the GOB said, "What do you know, Mollywomps?" The kid said, "Nothin' I guess." It was funnier in the movie than I'm telling it.
What was that movie?
